Data is amazing! I love reading the latest statistics and research on Church and religion in the 21st century. But don’t get caught in the trap of thinking that knowing the data is enough. Learning the data is not enough.
The question that we need to ask in light of the data is this: what am I going to do differently in my ministry because of what I learned?
And that’s my question to you as a ministry leader. Use the comment section below to share how you are doing ministry differently in light of the data.
Watch the video and let’s share best practices that will help each of us become better leaders in our church.
I recommend taking a look at the following research if you have not done so already:
- Catholic Parishes of the 21st Century
- Going, Going, Gone: The Dynamics of Disaffiliation in Young Catholics
If you have other recommendations for me, please include them in the comment section below.
